Visionaries are those who actively decide to help others.
 

Whether you're holding the door open for a stranger, reading a book outloud for a child, running a fundraiser, or donating to one, it's an active decision and step you have to take to do those things. Visionaries for Vitality is our close-knit community of high schoolers who're all ready to fundraise and convince generous people like YOU to step up and support those whose lives can benefit from our help. 

As a junior in high school, I know that it's always been a far out idea to actually help people through LEADING fundraisers and actually being involved. It felt like I didn't really have any way to do my part, until I found this campaign. As a student who's also interested in pursuing healthcare, this campaign also furthers my passion for supporting my community, and allows me, as a high schooler, to do something big. With your help, I can put my foot through the door, and have this cool experience be an opportunity for kickstarting my future success!

I'm very excited to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.

As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:

• Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
• Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
• Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
